The darker the berry, the sweeter the juice

They say

The deeper the welly, the cooler the water

I say

The wetter the kissy, the sweeter the miss

They say

The brighter the sunny, the happier the bees

I say

But let me tell you

You’ll go round the world

But you’re never gonna find the love

Like the one you can give yourself

Like the one you can give yourself

The thicker the rope, the stronger the hold

They say

The stronger the jaw, the tighter the grip

I say

The thicker the honey, the sweeter the taste

They say

The happier the laughter, the bigger the heart

I say

But let me tell you

You’ll go round the world

But you’re never gonna find the love

Like the one you can give yourself

Like the one you can give yourself

Love yourself coz

Let me tell you

You could go round this wretched world

But you’re never gonna find the love

Like the one you can give yourself

Like the one you can give yourself
