We are the ones taught to fight,

The ones taught to kill,

The ones who will rise up when no one else will.

In that lost battlefield when all the stars stand still

I stand alone at death’s door.

But no, I’m not alone. I’m in the arms of a brother.

In a land full of hate we learn to love one another.

For once let’s bear arms, not of arms but each other.

United, let’s stand once more.

Let’s stand for the valor. Sing of the fray.

Remember the ones who have lost their way.

Don’t let us be forgotten, dear God do I pray that

the lives that were lost were not lost in vain.

Don’t praise us for our valor, just don’t lose your faith.

Don’t raise us on a tower, just remember our names.

Our time of endless terror may well have been our finest hour

but I beg you not to praise us, just don’t lose your way.
