The Journey of Life

A Free Poem

Time slips by like a fleeting white steed,

Years fly away like a swift shuttle's speed.

On life's path, thorns are thick and hardships plenty,

Yet there are flowers blooming, and sunshine aplenty.

Once, I took my first steps with difficulty, lost and helpless,

But a brave spirit within me always helped me compass.

Searching for the meaning of life amidst despair,

Seeking direction in solitude and without a care.

Amidst storm and rain, I gritted my teeth and moved ahead,

Crossing mountains and rivers, all for chasing my dream-fed.

Encountering setbacks, experiencing hardships like a stone,

It forged my soul, more strengthened than ever known.

On the long journey, I saw the vast sea,

So vast it seemed to encompass all that could be.

I heard the whisper of the brook in the woods,

Soothing my soul, bringing peace within like no others would.

Everyone has their own journey of life to embark,

Sometimes difficult, sometimes easy and with a spark.

The pursuit of love and truth is bound to have rough patches,

But it's also the most crucial experience to gain needed catches.

As we pass our youth and go through middle age,

Life slowly fades, and we learn to adapt to each stage.

Enjoying every moment, thanking the flora and fauna,

Embracing life, living like a true persona.

In this world, we are not just mere travelers,

But pioneers, advocators and witnesses to all life's heirs.

Each journey leaves memories so precious,

Making us better individuals and never unwantedly vicious.

No matter how strong the wind, how hard the rain,

Every person has their own story, their own pain.

Treasure your experiences, hold fast to your faith,

On the journey of life, you shall find a perfect wraith.
