My heart burns for you,

My tongue dances across your teeth,

I take a deep breath and reminisce.

Your arms, my familiar place.

The warmth I feel is misguided

Yet your touch is so inviting.

That smile so deceiving,

My heart is almost bleeding,

From the pain I have to hide

All because I want you by my side.

Best friend till the end?

I think I could pretend

To care as just a friend.

But those eyes are my demise,

And it comes as no surprise,

A simple touch and I slip

Back into the place I miss

Now watch as my heart

Turns into a black abyss..
