The Great Outdoor
The best place to be
Outside
Seeing that one acorn on the tree
The grass so green
The trees grow taller than a house
The flowers blooming
The birds chirping
Sitting on your favorite rock
So beautiful to sit
Listening and watching
Outside
Where the sun hits the right spot
You feel its warmth
Never wanting to leave
Scared that if you leave it will be gone
Wanting to sit there forever
Listening
Watching
The animals wondering about
Life so different
Outside
The sky is so blue
The clouds floating by
Looking like shapes in the sky
Deer roaming through the grass
Woods where you lose yourself
Outside
Where I find myself
My curiosity goes through the roof
I want to explore everything
Until it is time to go inside
One day
I will explore the woods
to their fullest
When I grow up
