The Flower in the Wind

Poem

The flower in the wind goes back and forth

To the south at a time at a time to the north

But the flower is still as it ever was

The gardener still waters, the bees still buzz

The Petals get blown to the nearby pond

The wind carries its essence to the hills beyond

As spring arrives, the cherries are ripe

It brings the wind and the meadow comes to life

The yellow buttercup does not uproot

The wind grows strong according to its mood

The wind is always there at the day time and the light

I wonder sometimes does it come at night

The air is unpredictable, as the wind rules

When it arrives the meadow really cools

Sometimes it's too much, the wind can get cruel

The flowers strike each other as if in a duel

The petals float in the pond as if a swimming pool

The buttercup shines brightly like a golden jewel

The flower moves with such a beautiful grace

The wind leaves silently and not a single trace

The flowers stop moving and when the winds end

The petals float in the pond like nothing ever happened

Swiftly through the land, the winds pass

The yellow buttercup and the green grass

The wind is good on the flowery plane

I don’t like to imagine when it pairs with rain

The nectar must be juicy because the bees really swarm

The wind is so gentle, not violent like the storm

On the meadow there is also, garbage really mean

The wind blows it too, reducing my job to clean

No one works on the meadow, the job is very major

I just clean the area, I like beautiful nature

Next year again spring will come forth

The flower in the wind will go back and forth

To the south at a time at a time to the north
