The Elder Coder's Journey: Keeping Up with the Times
Adapting and Learning with Grace
An old programmer sat at his desk,
His mind full of memories and specs.
He'd been coding for decades long,
But now felt like he's singing a wrong song.
The young folk were fast and so keen,
Their skills and knowledge always keen.
He struggled to keep up with the pace,
Feeling out of place in this race.
He thought of all the code he's written,
All the bugs he had smitten.
But now he's feeling left behind,
His coding days were hard to find.
He thought of all the things he knew,
But the young ones had a different view.
New languages, new frameworks, new trends,
He felt like he was at the end.
But then he realized with a smile,
That experience is worth a while.
He had years of knowledge in his mind,
And that, the young ones couldn't find.
So he picked himself up with pride,
And decided to join the tide.
He'll adapt and learn with grace,
And show the world his coding space.
