The Coyote

(Man from Mexico)

Her coyote was a tall young man from Mexico who looked like a dual version of the Greek sculpture Ephebe of Antikythera. His skin as bronze as the sculpture, body as chiseled, hair as curly and eyes as golden.

She retains this internalized frame of him; existing tall, shirtless & perspiring, fierce sun-rays radiate bronze and gold tones that beam simultaneously from his skin to his eyes—almost angelic. His unibrow matches the identity of his mustache as they both sit coarse although combed, under his beige ingrained sombrero. The only thing sheathed was his lower-self, which was held up by a buckled belt, light-blue Levi’s and black lustrous leather cowboy boots.

His pose—same as the sculpture, right hand held out as his back muscles flex and fluctuate the tattooed angel wings.

Fero liked to think of him as an Archangel with a gun.
