The city's concrete jungle

A Love Letter to the City

The city's concrete jungle, so gray and grim,

An endless sea of buildings, as tall as sin.

Its streets a labyrinth, so hard to navigate,

But in its chaos, I find my heart's true mate.

//

The honking cars and bustling crowds, so rough and loud,

The neon lights and sirens, that never fade out.

It's a place of constant motion, never still,

But in its vibrancy, I find my thrill.

//

For I see beauty in the city's gritty guise,

Its imperfections, that to others, may seem unwise.

Its relentless energy, a beacon of hope,

Its spirit unbreakable, as it continues to cope.

//

Let the city rise, with its sooty skies,

And let its chaos be my symphony, as I close my eyes.

For in this concrete wonder, I find my peace,

Its chaos, my solace, its ugliness, my release.
