The Bright Herald
First signs of spring after the long winter

Photo taken in Armidale, Australia, by R Makim
Flowers like snow cover
Frostbitten branches as
Late winter sun tries to break into
Spring.
_
A flash of colours warm and bright
A jester's comical camouflage.
A rosella hiding (poorly)
In the plumtree.
_
Herald of the change
Of the season.

Great poem on spring becoming spring!
ah Spring...and those colorful birds and life returning to infuse our senses with color. Love the poem.
What a lovely, descriptive poem.
