out of the blue

saunter in from the obscurity

of the depths we navigated in forever

i know him only by his shadows and silhouettes

places held for only the most privileged

the secret things he cherishes

above all else, as is below

bleeding from deep fissures

red and orange eruptions from withing

we can only hope it is no mistake

bringing doom to what could be a legacy

to overtake it and bury the memory

far beneath the crush of history

we don't know what normal is

together, discovery is near

but never seen

for the benefit of people

who will never know

intervention

keeping the meek

safe from their own folly

dividing distances between bodies

making the world smaller

falling in an overwhelming inquiry

we can't remember the lessons

until we experience

the vital factors in perspective

for a vulnerable will to be everchanging
