Looking up into a stormy sky,

I can't help but ask myself why?

Of all the things you've said and done

How can you think you have won?

I close my eyes and I can see,

A million things you did to me.

You broke me down and left me weak,

But I'm back up and on my feet.

Stronger than ever,

You thought you were clever.

The biggest mistake you can make,

Is to underestimate!

So many thoughts in my head,

Flashbacks of all the things you said,

All the times you left me in despair,

Forever wanting to clear the air.

Always the one to take the blame,

Never playing you at your game.

Now I look back,

And my heart feels slack.
