The Beauty Of An Alaskan Mountain
A Nature Poem or Haiku
I woke to beauty
Majestic mountain city
Took my breath away
****
On my first night in Alaska, I came to town in the dark. The next morning, looking out my window and there on three sides of me were mountains. I will always remember the beauty of that visit, and no haiku can tell you the beauty of what I experienced. And still, I try!
