The beauty and kindness of country folk

And the blueness of the unpolluted clear skies

Lively violin music emanates from the depth of the rickety old barn

A raspy, throaty, slightly askew lilt

That makes you want to let go and

Dance a lively jig.

Country life.

Perfect.

Peaceful.

Untainted by the rush and crush of city life.

As I walk along the long, dusty, gravely road

The various assortment of trucks, cars and miscellaneous oddly shaped motors

All slow down with a thoughtful kindness

To protect the traveler from the certain fits of coughing

That with certainty would be our plight.

Nine of ten slows down

And allows the dust to subside

That is a great number

I am thankful for the kindness of country folk.

It is where I want to be

Not in the crush and rush of the city

Where all are too busy to care about the other

Where people are invisible to one another

And a beggar is wont for spare change.

In the peaceful countryside

One breathes the fresh unpolluted air

And smile in contentment.

The sights are strange here

Adorably

Different

And puts another smile on your face.

Happy happiness

Fresh flowers

With the joy of nature

Clean, pure and invigorating

Just the way it was meant to be.
