I felt so alone

A fight between my loved ones and friends

I couldn't take anymore

A lack of support and understanding

They didn't want to hear it anymore

The 28 years

Living life in the dark side

Afraid and alone

Only you to hold my head up

I felt angry and hurt

Like no one but you cared or understood

I sat and thought about you

I took the bottle

Down went the pills

The 28 years

Living life in the dark side

Afraid and alone

Only you to hold me head up

I went to observation

No one there understood either

It's like no one cared

I was so alone and hurting

But you were there

The 28 years

Living life in the dark side

Afraid and alone

Only you to hold my head up.
