I loved brainwashed

I took things out on someone

I went through the night

Crying and alone

I thought I was hated

But you were there

The 28 years

Living in this hell

So alone and hurt

How can I go on?

I took it out on someone

Who was in my hospital room

I tried taking my life again

It wasn't your fault

The 28 years

Living in this hell

So afraid and hurting

How can I go on

I sat up all night

Then went to bed

I laid down to sleep

The hospital bed shook twice

The 28 years

Living in this hell

So alone and hurting

How can I go on
