green grass of tunnel through tiles in the bath

I fall swimming through the silk of our pool

left out all summer in silent nights of blue

in the yellows of sun it’s warm and sweet

still dreaming I’m wet in the shade of day

as red balloons crash windows and I can’t be found

sister radio screams and brother bat swings hard

close my eyes in the cupboard when eric whispers my ear

telling dandelions shine gold in the kitchen

and mom breathes in the window’s light
