Tears of a Dandelion

🤍

By TestPublished 8 months ago • Updated 8 months ago • 1 min read

Morning spills hope across the horizon-

Soothing dull grass with lullabies.

Nurturing dull roots into sapling sprout-

Observing the unfolding scene.

The dandelion sheds a dewy tear-

It forms softly amongst inflorescence florets,

Before dropping slowly-suspended

Within rossetted leaves –

Encased in a spider’s web of worlds.

A fortune teller’s orb

Of futures past.

And in the dawns light zephyr,

It wavers –

Spreading seed of something new.

A gentle release in final goodbye –

To children grown and

Flown into dreams -

They made their own.

Beginnings ending to begin again.
