Teach me to love you
Photo by Jason Briscoe on Unsplash

I don't want you to heal me

Or save me from my own person.

I don't want to find you

Someone I lost

Long before you.

I want to be you

As you are

And just love me

Simple and clean.

I want you to teach me to have courage,

I hope so

and to love again.

Show me your weaknesses,

but also the gaps in my chest,

the remnants of the past.

I want you to teach me

Stop being afraid of me

The words,

of empty promises ...

I want you to invite me

To love you honest.

I like to write poems when I'm sad.

I'm shy when it comes to my writing.
