surreal poetry
Surrealist poetry embodies the essence of poetry itself, drawing upon shocking imagery and lyrical incongruities to comment on the inner-workings of the mind.
"Embrace my Indigenous hurricane"
rimson dawn, She stood, her spirit strong, yet worn, From lands of gold and whispers old, Her journey's tale, so oft untold. Captured by chains, her freedom fled, From African shores to seas of dread, In shackles bound, her soul confined, To a fate of anguish, so unkind. Upon the wavvers, a tempest's rage, A hurricane's fury, an ocean's stage, Tumult and chaos, screams pierce the air, As winds and waves, in torment, tear. Through the chaos, she's cast aside, Lost in the storm, no place to hide, Her cries drowned out by nature's roar, As destiny's hand sweeps her ashore. Alone she stands, on unfamiliar land, A stranger in a foreign strand, But in her heart, a flame still burns, A resilience that forever yearns. Through fields of cotton, under Southern sun, Her journey's just begun, For though the chains may bind her frame, Her spirit soars, untamed by shame. In the crucible of adversity's fire, She'll rise above, her soul inspired, For in her veins, the blood runs deep, A legacy of courage, she'll proudly keep. Though her story's filled with pain and strife, She'll carve her path, with strength and life, A woman of color, in slavery's chains, But her spirit's freedom forever reigns.

Two paths.
Why Life? Makes me stand on two paths. I spent my childhood playing and jumping at street intersections. When youth comes, this so broken that i Now I am standing on two paths of life. what to choose Whatever I want, or that whatever he wants the answer was very easy but still don't know What were you thinking? , I was still standing on two paths. the time had come that I, let's go on some path or the other I also went, whatever he wants on those paths. I am walking on a lonely path still don't know Why am I standing? still on two paths. I think that go back to my ways steps sometimes go back and forth But I often get scared When they are on the way They stand on this hope i will take They should also cross these two paths. And thinking this I let's go back inside me On two paths.

it's me.
i'm too far gone where there is only me, only me But I don't have any friends, I am also my friend I have left everything behind On these roads, I am alone Where even my words are, I am the same there is no one far away When I raised my head here, I was alone. it's me.

3/1/24 10:48pm I’ve Grown Feet This Month and when my teeth become too brittle to take on shards of ice, I will rely on those who whittled them down, suckling at citrus from the vines of motherhood, beckoning a wife, a woman whose lips curl in agony but showcase content, like a curtain closing each breath, the burning on my knees leading me to water, I remember this, I know these chips, I taste this wire wrapped tightly around each stem, fingering the seeds like little tiny bones, a man in the corner, telling us he has lived here all his life, grown to foot the shores and eye the birds, swallow shards whole, because they will melt in the end
