surreal poetry
Surrealist poetry embodies the essence of poetry itself, drawing upon shocking imagery and lyrical incongruities to comment on the inner-workings of the mind.
Hidden Scars
A deep scar you gave me, Asks for some love to heal. A dream that you showed me, Asks for some sleep today. Ignored when my heart said, "This love story will never reach its destiny." Thought I would turn my fate. But my fate ended up turning my life. Perhaps in some other life we might meet, Perhaps we will fall for each other again. It's said what goes around comes around. And I will be waiting for those streams of love to come around.

Pain in Haze
A person in such way hides some pain in the haze. Smiles lost in mists of tragedies yet he lives dwelling on the slippery floor of his beliefs and self doubts. Lost in thoughts of 'what led my life here?' Hanging on a curtain of hope peeks out of the window where once he sat in a dreamy state, an angel he sees waving him a street away. Grabs a woven sweater his grandma gave, faces the cold traumatic storms. Shivering, trembling gets out of this terrible maze. Realizes he stepped on a golden pathway and the happiness that knocked the neighborhood doors is now on his face. And the person lives another day.

Everyone Happens for a Season
"Watch diligently your DART, because even though it's always sharp, it's occasionally smooth." "The whole torrent with the world is that dips & nitwits are always so flooded w/themselves, while wiser washouts are drained by DROUGHT"

A Sign, If You Need It. Top Story - October 2024.
You may wake one hazy morning and realize you have left yourself in a dream. Ghostly, you only half recognize the people and places surrounding. Perhaps you hurry to the mirror to find yourself, even a glimpse, but no reflection meets you on the other side. You might be terrified by this absence and try to convince yourself that this is the dream, after all.
