surreal poetry
Surrealist poetry embodies the essence of poetry itself, drawing upon shocking imagery and lyrical incongruities to comment on the inner-workings of the mind.
Dune
Cinnamon sands breathe an ocean, tame but wild and echoing within my skin I am a reflection of your longing, A palace of copper stolen from the mouths of silent archetypes I burn from your touch though I do not feel your distance, I move at your kiss, though it is felt in the sight of sound I overwhelm through the power of my forces of nature; I am like lightning moving in summer Though I am gentle. I will never blind you with the stutter of my flesh.
