Pitter-Patter Kitten-Mittens and the Jealousy of Man
Kitten paws pitter-patter back and forth, through the not-so-quiet-house. Ripped paper rests on the floor in the kitchen.

This is not an official Vocal Challenge. Just an idea I came up with last night. So, I’ve never posted a challenge idea of my own. Or it’s been so long, that I’ve forgotten. But here’s one I came up with after writing Let Her Dance last night.

What tomorrow will bring? I chase my dreams while feeling thankful for every moment. Floating on clouds, my dreams sprinkle thankfulness like rain. Through the storm, gratitude washes away all my pain. I am guided through this maze. I'm grateful for the haze that helps smoothen my days. We don’t know what tomorrow will bring? With wings spread wide, I soar, embracing the unknown spring.

I wrote this because I found this picture while looking for the cover photo of another article I’m working on. I thought it would be interesting to write a story around a random picture, so I saved it to my drafts. It’s been sitting there for a while. That was until it struck me today, and the story just poured out of me like water from a broken dam. I hope you enjoy it.
