Additionally, aircraft also began to join the fight.Revolutionary forces have also been able to enter and take control of the road where they live.Daw Moe and her villagers are trapped in fear and anxiety amid the ongoing fighting between the military and the revolutionary forces.Amidst the sound of heavy weapons, a group of her people tried to move safer places with the help of revolutionary forces.But unexpectedly, a large weapon exploded next to Daw Moe and she died instantly on the spot.Now, who will support her young son, who is suffering in a foreign land, until he finds stability?When he was informed of his mother's death over the phone, her son could only cry and plead for her body to be properly cremated.Now, the military council troops have occupied that small village. If villagers want to return home, they are being demanded up to hundreds of thousands of Myanmar kyat, causing great hardship for the villagers.The battles that began with the military coup have caused significant hardships for the middle class and the poor. Many people, forced to flee due to the fighting, are unable to repay their loans, resulting in the seizure of their farms, homes, and land, leaving them homeless.Due to airstrikes, heavy artillery shelling, and arson attacks, many people have also been left homeless, facing immense suffering.According to a report by Data for Myanmar, over 5,600 civilians have been killed in Sagaing Region alone between March 2021 and February 2025.The group also reported that, as of January 2025, over 110,000 civilian homes have been burned and destroyed, with 67% of them being in Sagaing Region.
