I Bleed

I bleed for you

I bleed

For the times you silenced your voice

The times you didn’t speak when you wanted to.

When you had to.

I bleed

For all the trauma you went through

For the silent battles you fought alone

I bleed

For the:

Doubts you had

Hurt you endured

Lies you were told

Confusion you felt

Shame you carried

Disappointments you experienced

I bleed for you

For the times you cried out for help

but it never came.

For the times you were ignored that

you started doubting your existence.

I bleed

For the generational wounds you carry

For the generational scars you bear

& generational cycles you have to break

I bleed

For all the regrets you have

All the guilt you can’t shake off

For all the opportunities you missed

And all the days that bore fruitless

I bleed for you.
