Out of Your League
I am at peace though my heart is at war
My mind inclined to dull out the roar
Of the outside world's impression of
My lack of convention.
My disinterest in investing in a false reality-
One more palatable to a woman's place
The reflection of my face, my body, my race
The measure of my temper should be easy to remember.
Oh right- you left and so you lost access to me.
Well, recall this to mind when you've carved out the time
I'm a conundrum wrapped in a mystery so sublime
And so here you come set to pillage and destroy
My peace, my boundaries, and my sense of joy?
