Where is that freedom? She said ...
The city seemed grayer than ever and darker than all the clouds in the sky. The ghosts were long gone, but their shadows had left their spiritual clones everywhere, playing sneaky, sinister tricks wherever she went. Was she really unlucky, or was it the reality of paranormal phenomena? Had she ever tried to think that it wasn't her fault, no matter what she did to survive, while others were doing much better, and she was only getting sicker and sicker surrounded by these tyrannosaurs who didn't even think about giving her 10 minutes of peace? She began to learn from animals how to survive in the company of so-called humans.

Even Silence Has Wings
As I slowly opened my eyes, the world around me dissolved into a canvas of pale light, a blankness that seemed to stretch on forever. I blinked, and with each flutter of my lids, the void sharpened into shapes, like a watercolor painting taking form. A figure took hold at the periphery of my visional bird, silent and still, watching me with an unblinking gaze.
