Once I had it all

But it somehow got away

I didn’t make that call

It was a happy fall

A year ago today

Once I had it all

It wasn’t what they saw

They didn’t know my pain

I didn’t make that call

I stood proud and tall

For what I made myself

Once I had it all

But others had to crawl

And they didn’t like my smile

I didn’t make that call

So it was ripped away

And so I couldn’t stay

Once I had it all

I didn’t make that call
