love poems
Love poems for hopeless romantics; I'm the poet and you're my muse.
Siren
Diamond mind but you're so quiet ripple into your atmosphere my heart starts to riot You look at me and the surface dissolves every heavy thing sinks down and resolves You've got a... s l o w and delicate touch I never knew the ocean could burn this much Scale on skin my heart starts to race tracing the gills on your beautiful face You whisper my name like a secret... a sin parting the kelp that I've hidden within It's a wonderful, dangerous kind of serene The sweetest submersion that I've ever seen Undertow pull me down in your devotion I wanna drown You've got a hold an unspoken command forget the shore forget the dry land Just keep me forever Take me under You, me, and the ocean a world filled with wonder Sexy and slow abyssal eyes here my whole world submerges and dies We're glowing in the dark where the sun can't reach miles away from the sand and the beach Your hands are like water Your lips are like salt spinning in currents with no stop or halt Iridescent liquid melting into blue I'm evaporating right into you

Collide
two souls entangled seamless— it’s how it always felt with you simple loving you move i move hand gripping hip nails dragging across skin between the thrusts and sighs echoing through the void lips kissing up necks licking the jaw gasping teeth nipping at the pulse point grunts into clavicle fingers clasp into arms hips lose their rhythm breath-catching, breaking whimpering then— collide rapture bursts of color against closed eyes a low sound caught in your throat everything else fades to nothing but skin and heat and you and i entwined connected relief blissed whole

Bring Him Home
The sun abandons and I sleep a good while, until daisies alert me. I snooze on wafts of clover, wake again! I can’t contain the kettle boiling. Startles me as if it’s a new passing. I open to Whitman and stop this night with me, which possesses all poems, the valve of your voice. What is a man? What am I? What are You? Lulled again into the underworld, I wear the cap of my invisibility. Where I find my Self in lavender fields, trying to ambush them because they are too good for God! The ocean never abates or stops producing olfactory portent that smells like an angry leather belt tonight and wakes me again! How the chimera dies underneath my dysmorphic body, above the roof of this stained house. What is a man? What am I? What are You? Until all simmers and glimmers a revised hope that my husband will return from sailing with his wish on board. That a simple nod will bring up the sun again. And bring him home! What is a man? What am I? What are You?
