Sight Unseen
Once in the little, quiet town of Willowbrook, settled between moving slopes and murmuring backwoods, she carried on with a young lady named Eliza. Eliza was known for her comforting grin and good nature; she was consistently prepared to help anybody out of luck. Despite her euphoria about helping other people, she conveyed calm trouble, a yearning for an affection she had never known yet frequently longed for.

Twin Troughs Suez and Panama Canals
Twin Box: Suez and Panama Channels The sun cast a brilliant tint over the immense territory of water as it rose, welcoming the two fantastic accomplishments of human design: the Suez Channel and the Panama Trench. However isolated by huge numbers of miles and various scenes, these two waterways shared a typical bond, for they were the help of worldwide exchange, twin boxes interfacing far off seas.

Versus I
Note: Again, I am in the middle of doing multiple things all at once. No luck on the househunting, but taxes are done, exams (first set) are marked (have time off to contemplate what my students do not know); I cleaned, swept, wiped and ran when I could. And it is a beautiful day to start sharing this particular idea.

Psychomachia. Top Story - May 2024.
"Fragile. Handle With Care." You dropped my heart Cognizant it was made of glass I watched it descend in slow motion A careless mishap? A sabotage, mayhap? You put the blame on the wind And thrived in that chasmic cosy chaos ~~~~~ I wish I knew then, what I know now I failed to notice that a neon sign Above my head blinked "disposable" It overshadowed my warning label ~~~~~ If I weren't so myopic If I was just a tad psychic If I had followed the maps of my gut If I knew where your trail of paint would lead to I'd have stopped you long before ~~~~~ You were aphasic in dialect Nothing more than an empty envelope Or a cassette with its tape pulled out You felt so macho, like a champ But you're a psycho and a chimp ~~~~~ I'm feeling so conflicted Should I beg you not to leave? Or leave it to the cosmic energies? You don't believe in karma but you will When it shoves strawberries up your ass Watching you erode would be my bliss

If you are overthinker- read this
Overthinking always plonks us into a negative spiral and makes us believe the worst of any scenario. It robs us of the joy of being in the present moment. If you are someone who actively struggles with overthinking and ruminating, here are some powerful affirmations that can help you put yourself at ease and be grounded in the present moment.

Be where your feet are
Be where your feet are We often find ourselves either guilt-tripping in the past or ruminating about the future. The present is all that we have in our hands yet we tend to often forget the importance of living in the moment. In a world that constantly holds our attention, it becomes difficult for us to catch a moment of what our primary requirements are in the present, to catch a glimpse of what it is that we truly want for ourselves. Everything that you have ever dreamed of, wanted and will ever need, all of it stems from the present moment.
