Getting "It"
It's in all the twinkling sparkling bulbs used to light or the tall standing candles lighting through candlelight It's held in every Star, snowflake, snowman, gingerbread house, Rudolf, Santa and elf placed just right It's found in pies, cakes, breads and the cookies left out at night It's found in knick knacks and gifts hidden from peeking eyes on the shelf at a hard to reach height It's found with loved ones traveling great distances with crowds on a flight It's found in a marriage of merging of family delights So, what is "It" that has the power to unite? A wonderful feeling thats light that fills us just right, each holiday night Helping us reach greater personal heights through flights of delights That unites through community with help of experienced holiday acolytes It's the kindness and giving, found in the stories the holiday seasons writes It's Christmas, it's Hanukkah, it's Kwanzaa, it's Bodhi Day, and more It's the goodness in the spirit of people at "It's" core So be blessed and bless-ed don't let "It" go ignored Happy Holidays to all, share "It", the world offers so much to adore!
