heartbreak
They can break your heart, but they can't break your soul; poetry about lost love that comforts and uplifts.
Vex
Provoking every ounce of rage inside of me. Your voice kept grating me like a beehive droning over and over again. I still have the pentagram you drew for me. Your seances have failed because I am still here to haunt you. You used to call me a banshee while you were the ghost that kept tormenting me. We used exorcisms against each other but continued to aggravate one another in disbelief. I summoned the power of the seasons to punish you. Your selfish endeavors will outlast this damnation you wish upon me. You conjured spells to hurt me but didn't realize they would hurt you too. All of this will backfire because witchcraft isn't your strongest suit. I've mourned that Tuesday morning when you vanished, finally, into thin air. I've prayed for a reaping and ultimately, received a reckoning. All of your red flags are someone else's problem now. You didn't banish me. It was dissonance that had had enough and asked you to vacate. Unfulfillment wouldn't suffice but it was worth a shot. You kept triggering my hostility and it bred even more toxicity. Dysfunction made me a heretic of my own religion. Peace couldn't reach me with you in the way. I wanted to talk to fire but you wanted me to burn instead. It took a bit of magic to expel you from this reality but it finally worked. The lore will have a page dedicated to you and scum just like you. I have nothing left for you here. You can't provoke me anymore.

"NO MONEY IN MY WALLET". Content Warning.
I was not going to write this true story, but it's not all about me, but other folks too. It is a scenario that could have been avoided with proper communication and not so aloof communication with Vocal and the writers. So, I am writing this to breathe in, breathe out, cry but not pout but scream in my way of lyrics and a song to break down barriers to communication between VOCAL and writers.

EULOGY
EULOGY- this is a somber poem that saddens me to this day. It is based on a true story. And I feel the need to keep this little girl's story alive. On October of 2015, two adult men got into a roadrage situation on the highway. Seems the two men either knew each other or just decided that they were going to be MEN and show the other guy who was tougher. The one in the truck kept cutting the other guy off as he kept trying to pass him. The 2nd man then got angrier at what the first guy was doing so pulled his gun and shot into the back of dude's truck since he was in front of him. Lucky for the first guy, he missed....not so lucky was the little girl about 5 years old sitting in the back seat. When first guy's little boy spoke up and said, "She's bleeding!" was when the guy paid attention to the fact he was carrying his two children. Guy finally let the other guy go and pulled over to call and wait for the ambulance. But it was too late. The damage of each men's pride was evident. Coincidentally, it had begun to rain as they were on the side of the road as if the heavens were crying. Both men were at fault, not just the one that shot the gun..and it angers me even now. I wrote this either the same day or the next, I don't recall but it has the date I wrote it. By now I believe and hope the little girl has reincarnated or maybe she isn't ready, but she will have a better life this time around. It is the only thing that makes me smile about that day when I read this poem:

As Long As
I conjure up images of you as I walk through the woodland. I’m light like pollen, spun clouds in summer, a ghost. Everything you wanted me to be. Obedience was my blanket. An elderly man walks by and ignores me. His dog sees me though. Four-legged innocence waiting for validation. I smile; he wags his tail. A victory flag. I wonder whether dogs understand smiles the way people do? I had given up waiting for your approval. The elderly man whistles. Obedient dog. I need space you said. Where did obedience get me?
