Synthetic World

(Synthetic Love)

Synthetic love

Hollow, Empty, lonely,

Cold…

Synthetic life,

Synthetic nourishment…

Lost in a virtual reality dream,

Imaginings, phantoms of visions,

Synthetic hope...

Shadows that play on without light

Such sorrow only grief may know and hold

Missing joy’s delight

A void, an empty vessel, abyss

Lacking any tenderness

No comfort, no solace, no compassion here dwells

In fear and doubt, anxiety’s stressed friend

But faith ever present promises a new dawn,

A tomorrow with rainbows and true real love

Missing provisions will find their way,

And no more tears will here stay

Love real and warm

Full and healing,

Where plenty replaces starvation,

And Blessings bring realised visions,

Dreams come true,

And Smiles return,

Believe in Faith’s positive song…
