I am dead.
Dead and gone and yet still I live on,
They say.
Perhaps they are right, but my towering might,
My fierce "run-for-cover", teeth like no other
Are somewhat reduced, don't you think?
My preposterous size stopped not my demise,
And diminished, I have to confess,
That I'm dubious yet, I might place a bet,
That they're pedalling slander and lies.
This morning I doodled and then I said doo,
Does that sound awfully monstrous to you?
But don't be too blasé , or see me as passé,
This avian beast will prevail.
I'm watching. I'm waiting. Yes, and I'm hating.
These bright beady eyes so poorly disguise
That I know a thing or two.
I've been here much longer than you.

Wow! 🤩 What an hilarious poem, especially if you wrote it late at night and tired!🤣
You made them sinister!
Well-wrought, especially the clever wordplay! And as for the science, fast and loose is what the daring do, so don't be a chicken... ahem...

Ha! Great entry, Hannah! I laughed and felt a little creeped out at the same time!
Very funny, Ms Moore. Very funny. I am in England now. Send help lol. That is a joke. But this is a great little piece. Loved it.
So much fun. Loved it.
hahaha, clever and witty
I am pretty sure that some of those lizards and such are dinosaurs in disguise, one day they will regain their size and take over the world again. Yep, they are watching.
