Baby you burn so bright

When I am far away from you, I look to the sky.

I see the stars and they remind me of you.

Beautiful, beaming and bright.

Far-away; just like you.

Divine; just like you.

Untouchable; just like you.

I look at you at times, and I see such luminescence.

On the outside, you seem fragile, a delicate glass figure, easily smashed,

But inside of you, there glows a fire.

The light of a thousand suns shines in your eyes,

And the glass of your skin hardens, turns to diamond.

When your fire ignites, I am never afraid of the burn marks or pain.

I only bask in the glory of your presence, and up above,

The stars wish they could be just like you
