Sunrise
Not sure if this is poetry - but it's something!
Delicate stands of light
pour like liquid gold
into a cerulean sea
A playful moon in crescent
dances between stratified clouds
seeking cover like the child’s game
The sinew softens
and the night’s grip slackens
as she seeks her dark repose
The flowers in the field
clothed in all their finery
greet the approaching king
The Light of Infinite Love
spreads like wildfire
though everything on the Earth
