In the land of endless days so bright,

Where laughter dances in the light,

Summer holidays come to play,

With adventures waiting every day.

Underneath the azure sky so clear,

We chase our dreams without a fear,

Through fields of green and meadows wide,

Our imaginations take us for a ride.

With sandy toes and salty breeze,

We explore the world with such ease,

Building castles by the sea,

Where mermaids sing in harmony.

Picnics under shady trees we spread,

With sandwiches and lemonade, our hunger fed,

Beneath the canopy, stories unfold,

As friendships blossom, pure and bold.

Catching fireflies as dusk draws near,

Their twinkling lights bring cheer,

Camping out beneath the stars,

We count them like our dreams, afar.

Oh, summer holidays, how we adore,

Your magic moments, forevermore,

In memories sweet, you'll always stay,

Our sunny adventures, come what may.

Reminds me of the summers I had with my sons when school was out for the summer. Then, time flew by too fast. They are now saying the same thing as they watch their children have picnics with their children. Where did our youth go? Love this trip down memory lane.
