"Summer's Embrace"

Memories Warm and Joyful

In the warmth of summer's reign,

We'd journey to Grandma's home again.

Down dusty roads, hearts elated,

Eager for tales at Grandma's gate.

Ripe mangoes and sweet watermelons,

Palm fruits from high trees beckon.

With cousins and friends, we'd play,

In fields golden under sun's sway.

Tanned skin, laughter's cries,

Underneath the vast, blazing skies.

Learning to swim in lakes clear,

Neath neem or tamarind near.

In gentle breeze, we'd drift away,

In dreams, where worries fray.

But summer's end brought tears to eye,

In Grandma's home, peace did lie.

Though miles apart, memories stay,

In echoes of summer's sway...
