I suffer. In silence.
She’d never understand,
I fear telling her my issues,
She enables my fall,
She does it with kindness,
She doesn’t realize it all,
I want to tell her,
I’m not as strong as I seem,
She’d only judge me,
So I continue to bleed,
My willpower is fading,
I’m starting to slip,
I don’t know how I’m going to get out of this,
I suffer in silence,
Out of fear of what she’d say,
Her anger,
Her wrath,
Not her warm, gentle embrace,
She’d only judge me,
For the failures I’ve made,
Not the things I contribute,
Or the bills that I pay,
My failure is mine,
Mine to bear alone,
She’d only judge me,
I’m alone in my home.
