creating space for new emergence.

letting the past be as it is.

no longer attempting to fully understand

all that has transpired and been,

i step more fully into the now.

long lost aspirations begin to resurface.

dreams forgotten begin to float to the forefront of my subconscious becoming conscious matter and mental clarity.

i realize again the magic that exists in this one wild and crazy thing we call life.

time as a human on earth.

here to liberate,

not only myself but the collective thoughts that are trapped in fear,

trapped in the basic state of apathy,

trapped, yet somewhere,

from some thin line tied to something more,

searching,

seeking what it might mean to live in the sublime state of joy.

as we go forth,

we encounter one death after another.

internally.

externally.

if we are lucky we begin to see what it means to be fully alive.

shedding and releasing we honour the sacred in each and everyone,

each and every moment.

each and every slice of life.

we listen and learn to discern what it might mean to be in our spirit,

to be entirely & intricately woven with the fabric of our soul,

to feel what it feels to know our body

so deeply that listening becomes

first nature,

listening to nature as if it were a part of us,

as if we are a part of nature,

because we are.

or at least that’s what the trees told me.
