As the rain falls from the sky,
While the tears fall from our eyes.
We look upon the devastation,
From our mental illnesses own creation.
Looking upon the darkness of the night,
Waiting impatiently for the stroke of light.
We may feel wasted, may feel ill,
It may break our heart, but it will never break our will.
No matter how many bumps in the road,
We will find a way to conquer the cold.
Never surrendering to defeat’s subtle embrace,
No matter what world struggles we face.
We can always prove ourselves to be bigger,
Than anything that causes an emotional trigger.
We will keep fighting and ride the wind,
Keep improving ourselves to be stronger than we have ever been.
