Silent Killer

There are people everywhere who carry this disease.

It spreads faster than anyone can believe.

If you let them bear influence, you can turn out just as bad,

Till you start spreading this sickness that you never before had.

These people taint your spirit and corrupt your mind,

When infected freedom becomes hard to find.

Most people succumb to the illness because they are weak,

A cancer as such can ruin you even at your peak.

Gossip is the silent killer,

It affects people on every social pillar.

It can afflict someone whose soul seemed pure,

And once afflicted it can be hard to conquer.

The people who spread it are the negative,

But we always have a choice of prerogative.

If we ignore them their presence will not last,

And we can prevent the ailment from being passed.
