Starry Eyes

A Poem

These eyes;

they’re affectionate and kind,

They’re soft and soak up the light

These eyes are a horizon,

They are welcoming you will find,

Some days they are missing you

Your eyes meet mine,

A galaxy combined,

Stars fly!

The iris is a halo,

Behind these halos is an angel soul

Starry Eyes,

They twinkle in the light,

They brighten the night,

Your starry eyes meet mine

Stunned by how much they stand out,

They speak beauty;

Beautifully created

Times I think of you,

I think of those starry eyes too
