St Valentine's Day

A love letter to somebody I used to know.

Valentines , sweet melodies in the night.

Rose pedals , rhythmic movements of our bodies.

Not only in sync with each other, but with our heart beats.

Submerging my mind and my soul with concepts of you.

Such alluring intimacy, fondness, endearment, warmth.

Wrapped and embraced in your love. Using my breath rather than my throat. I remind you, I advise you. That I love you.

Monitoring your eyes as you gaze around the room avoiding mine. I comment to you my love, my hand to hold, this soul.

And to the rush of wind that gushes past my mind at the thought of your absence. I am left angered, confused and yet I'm in so much distress. I wonder what wanders through your head at the thought of me.

If you see sense the sadness that slightly creeps through my smirked tone as much as you do the brightness in my happiness.

And it is within the rainbow that’s the product of the rain.

The Essence of the sun,

It is the purest of diamonds.

You and I, in perpetuity.
