Spring Is Meant for Planting
How my garden does grow and here I am ranting!
Wake early
and surely
I will be sorry
and I will be tired clearly.
~
At the end of the day mercy
be mine. I am not burley
no mam, and I am not girly
and not curly.
~
I am not cowardly
or slippery
or blurry.
~
I am elderly
and worthy
never dastardly
or in a hurry.
~
I am not thirty
rather I am on a journey
almost yearly
to find a nursery
to spend my salary
well nearly
all, without robbery.
~
On the outlook for a special peony.
I dearly
want those dirty
and thirsty
and utterly
beautiful flowers!

Lovely, you proved you are an artistic poet 😊. I can learn many things from your poem!
Caring and wanting flowers helps to relieve stress even over money spent for them.
Lol, spending tour salary without robbery. Loved your beautiful poem!
