Speak for You

Turn away

And delve within.

I’m advocating for you.

See the lies

That paralyze

There’s so much left here for you.

Breathe the air

And smell my skin

You’ll never be without it

And when the locks

All fall away

You’ll break your chains and fly.

My shoes, they have the same mud

Same blood

That follows you around

Back to those days,

I know you hate.

And it stains

Every inch of my skin.

A time eschewed,

Back then I knew

Pain as love,

Fear felt true,

Solitude,

Abandonment,

Had never been two.

If you’ll be a student

To these wise words

In me these words you’ll find

But now I won't not speak for anyone.

Can I speak for you?
