The choices you made

Other people’s opinions

You thought you wanted this or that

Then changed your mind

But it’s not all bad

In fact it’s not bad at all

Because right when it mattered

And you could have gone down a different path

You somehow heard your soul speak

More of a whisper

And even though apparent chaos ensued

You had gone the right way

And didn’t hide from the things you needed to look at

By using all those little distractions and tricks we all use

It was tough

But look what you did

LOOK at what (and who) you have in your life
