Someone I Want To Steal

Someone I Want To Steal

I was the kind of girl.

who'd gotten good at goodbye.

Suddenly I find myself in a perfect world,

not wanting it to die.

Could this illusion be more than it seems,

for my perfect man is what I see.

It's like you stepped right out of my dreams,

but I know very well that you wear someone else's ring.

That I shouldn't tell you the things I want to say,

cuz we both agreed there'd be no strings.

That when it was over we would both walk away,

tell me, am I allowed to change my mind.

Is there a chance this could be real,

that something that lasts is something we could find.

Is it wrong that you're someone I want to steal,

is this something only I feel.

I'm thanking my lucky stars,

that I stumbled upon you,

creating a world that's ours.

It might feel too good to be true,

but there's no doubt,

how much I want you.
