So Joyful

So joyful is the pocket of friendly optimism

chatter exchanged freely in a give and take riding a glorious see-saw to the sky

that dips slightly like breathing- never bang to the ground (that would be “those kind are so lazy

back to pretty sunshine, opens the door for me, yes

and don’t we all live in paradise so nicely together, yes

so joyful is the sweet pocket of friendliness…

that I called complete strangers just to listen. And because I had no agenda

because I did not want anything- it was okay - wonderful even

and music and art surrounds us all because we CHOOSE

to see and hear the beauty….

Don’t we all deserve a little happiness, yes

and can’t we all do a little bit better in our corner of the world?
