a poem about the wicked heart

One dose of you does me in.

I'm still weak for you as I’ve never been.

So many years without a taste...

Does it make sense that nothing has changed?

I ache for you, for just a drop..

A sip, or maybe a shot...

But poison, it is fatal.

And with you, I am not stable.

You make me forget what I am doing...

You and your venomous way of wooing.

My heart, my soul, my body, it is addicted...

But this is not good, its something wicked.

I need truthfulness, I need light.

And with you - all we do is hide.

Poison to me, its what you are.

You get inside me and we go too far.

I can not even have just one drop...

Oh, how I wish my heart forgot!
